Community Guidelines
A plain-language guide to using Nubya responsibly
Summary: Nubya is built for authentic connection. These guidelines explain how to participate respectfully. They complement our Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy.
Be respectful
- Treat others with dignity, regardless of background, identity, or opinion.
- Engage in good faith — disagree without harassment, threats, or abuse.
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent who you are.
Share authentically
- Post content you have the right to share.
- Avoid false, misleading, or defamatory material.
- Label synthetic or edited media when it could reasonably mislead others.
- Do not spam, manipulate engagement, or use fake accounts.
Keep the community safe
The following is never allowed on Nubya:
- Content that exploits or sexualizes minors.
- Violence, terrorism, or hate speech targeting protected groups.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Content that promotes self-harm or dangerous behaviour.
- Illegal goods, scams, or unauthorised financial solicitations.
- Malware, phishing, or attempts to compromise accounts or the platform.
Live streaming
- Only stream content that complies with these guidelines and applicable law.
- Obtain rights and consent for music, third-party material, and people on camera.
- Do not stream in situations that put you or others at risk.
- Use age-appropriate content when minors may be present.
Report problems
If you see content or behaviour that breaks these rules, use the in-app Report option on posts, comments, or profiles. You can also block users from their profile.

Consequences
Violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, suspension, or permanent account termination. Nubya may refer serious violations to law enforcement where required. See our Content Moderation Policy for details.
